tesa® 64912 PV0 1200 µm double-sided PE foam tape
tesa® 64912 is a double-sided adhesive tape consisting of a conformable black PE foam backing and an LSE (low surface energy) adhesive. With a thickness of 1.2 mm, it is suitable for mounting sensor brackets onto bumpers, e.g. for PDC, and small decorative exterior and interior trims. Without primer, it offers high initial adhesion to LSE clear coats, LSE plastics like PP and PP/EPDM, and MSE (medium surface energy) plastics like ABS and PC.

- Near to ultimate peel adhesion level right after application
- Good performance at an application temperature as low as 5 °C
- Cold shock performance from the damping PE foam backing even below -40 °C
- Conformable foam backing to compensate design tolerances or uneven surfaces
- Reliable performance at higher temperatures
- Non-sticky edges for excellent converting properties, e.g. die cutting
- High cohesive strength with comparatively low density for low weight design
